iPhone doesn't pause when connected to car via usb/lightning cable.

iPhone doesn't pause when connected to car via usb/lightning cable. (audi A4 MMI) It used to work but not anymore.

I Don't know when it started but every music app (music, audible, itunes, google etc.) doesn't pause when I press the pause button on the iphone. It pauses for 1 second then continues playing.

I tried connecting 4 different iphones (iphone 5s, iphone 6, iphone 6s, another iphone 6). Funny thing is it doesn't work with my iphone or the other iphones (iphone 5s and iphone 6) which all of them have apple music service but it does work on the other iphone (iphone 6) with no apple music service.

It used to work before iOS 9.
